Utility Consumption Database

What can I do to get ready?

The implementation of the Utility Consumption Database will occur in 9 geographical "waves."  The composition of each wave is determined based on the concentration of utilities serving the region.

As part of the implementation, each board will be asked to provide site data that will allow Aegent Energy Advisors to begin gathering consumption data from the board's utilities.

During the implementation, boards will be asked to provide information about their locations including:

  • A copy of one gas and one power invoice for each location which will provide:
    • Account number
    • Account billing name-often on the payment slip
    • Billing postal code-often on the payment slip

Boards will be asked to provide site characteristics including:

  • School name
  • Account number to allow matching to the invoice data
  • School Facilities Inventory System number
  • Building classification (elementary, secondary, administrative, portable)
  • Area of each facility (including air conditioned area)
  • Year of construction

Aegent will work directly with each board to assist in gathering the data.
